Negan turned Glenn into porridge with Lucille as a brutal display of power and control. He wanted to assert his dominance over the survivors and send a message that he was not to be crossed. By brutally killing one of their own in such a gruesome manner, Negan aimed to instill fear and submission in the group, ensuring they would comply with his demands and serve him without question. It was a calculated act of violence meant to solidify his position as the leader of the Saviors and break the spirit of the survivors. **
